Foundation Program

Foreign citizens who do not speak Russian can undergo training at Admiral Makarov SUMIS under the University foundation program “Russian as a Foreign Language” on a paid basis.
Application period: June 1, 2024 – October 31, 2024
Fees: 1-year foundation program for foreign students in 2024/2025 – 160 000 Russian RUB

for admission to study at our University, you should submit the following documents:

Fill out the application form using the attached form.
Send the copy of your passport (all pages) with a Russian translation of the page with personal data. Passport must be valid for at least 2 years from the date of submitting your application.
Send the copy of educational document or transcript of records translated into Russian (translation must be certified by the Embassy or Consulate of the Russian Federation in the country where the educational document was issued).

When the University administration reviews the application form and submitted documents, the information about the selection results will be sent to your email.
If your candidacy for study on the foundation program is approved, a letter will be sent with an attached contract and a receipt for payment.
You need to sign the agreement, pay the receipt and send scanned copies of the signed agreement and paid receipt to the email address: cent_edu@gumrf.ru

Visa support letter will be issued only after the tuition fees are paid.

your visa support letter to enter the Russian Federation will be sent to your email address within 30 days.

after receiving your visa support letter, you should apply for a student visa at the Russian Embassy or Consulate in the country of residence.
after receiving an entry student visa, you should inform about the date of your arrival in Russia by email: cent_edu@gumrf.ru

fees and expenses in Russia:

accommodation fee - from 3.500 RUB per month
the cost of a voluntary health insurance policy for a foreign student (medical insurance) – 5000 RUB per year
mandatory fingerprint registration and medical examination of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (police) for all foreign citizens entering the territory of the Russian Federation for a period of more than 90 days - about 6,500 RUB
State fee for a multiple-entry annual study visa - 1.600 RUB
Food – at your own expense

The university provides a student with one place in the dormitory.
